Owning an RV is not like having a car. There are a number of systems that should be inspected to ensure they operate properly before making a purchase. An RV inspection should include the following:

• Electric (120V, 12V batteries, solar and generator)
• Propane system, propane appliances, propane tanks, refrigerator, water heater, furnace
• Water system, plumbing, holding tanks, city fill, showers, toilets, sinks, water pump
• Air conditioning units,  furnace, vents
• Roof, chassis, paint, floor, tires, cargo doors and bays, windows, slides, awnings, doors, interior, furniture, entertainment systems... just to name a few

It's advisable to pull fluid samples from the engine, transmission, generator and coolant to get the complete picture. I coordinate with the lab and send you the report - usually between 5 - 7 days.

Bottom line: have the RV inspected by a qualified RV Inspector before making a decision.
